Essential Duties:

• Serve 9Gauge clients as a trusted partner as they navigate the complexities of rapid growth and change.
• Provide advisory services and oversight in forecasting, streamlining processes, driving efficiencies within and across all relevant business functions.
• Lead multiple engagements simultaneously in a team environment - including scoping, pricing, resource planning, and preparing others so they can accomplish great things. 
• Direct and oversee the operations of our clients’ Accounting & Finance Departments, including;
  • Designing, implementing, and managing effective internal controls over all financial processes;
  • Ensuring timeliness, accuracy (in accordance with GAAP), and usefulness of financials= statements and management reporting for executives, management, investors, board members, and other constituents;
• Drive meaningful client board meetings and collaborate with investors to accomplish company goals.
• Manage the accountabilities of an organization in a venture or PE-backed environment, as well as vendor, strategic partner, and joint venture relationships
• Play an active role in the business development process, including networking and the development and presentation of solution-oriented client proposals.
• Mentor and challenge a matrixed organization of high-performing 9Gauge staff, performing financial consulting services ranging from monthly close and reporting to special projects.

Skills & Competency Requirements:

• Track record as a CFO in healthcare – specifically Physician Provider, Hospital experience a plus
• Evidence of high emotional intelligence
• Experience and success in optimizing and developing people in a virtual or multi-location environment required
• Multiple industry experience (SAAS, CPG, Manufacturing, and/or Healthcare preferred)
• CPA preferred
• Public accounting and/or consulting experience preferred
• BBA in Accounting, Finance or Business required, MBA preferred.
