9GAUGE PARTNERS IT Administrator Salary in the United States

The IT Administrator provides administrative and general office support around everything related to technology, including computers and peripherals as well as audio/visual and presentation support.  We are a growing team of consultants and need someone organized, positive and enthusiastic to support our team. Job duties would include, but are not limited to, serving as primary liaison to our outside IT Support firm, maintaining laptop and peripheral inventory, managing the phone system, managing A/V and telecom support for meetings and trainings, and other administrative duties as assigned

Primary Functions and Responsibilities:

• Providing general technology support to our consultants, clients and visitors
• Service desk/MSP support experience highly preferred
• The ability to work with multiple users, multiple applications, and ability to adapt to ever-changing technology
• Serving as the point person for all IT and technical support
• Coordinating with IT vendor on computers, equipment and inventory
• Maintaining office printer/scanner
• Clerical and administrative responsibilities and tasks
• Partnering with management to maintain office policies in relation to IT and systems as necessary
• Strong ability to multitask with staying focused
• Ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Tech-savvy by nature
• Adept within a Windows/PC environment
• Office management, administrative or assistant experience required
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
• Good decision-making capability
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Outlook required
• Comfort in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel is strongly preferred
• Strong time management skills
• Teamwork and collaboration comes easily
• Experience in a fast-paced environment

Required experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 1+ years of previous experience in an office environment.
• 1+ years of administrative experience.
