This position performs highly-specialized review and evaluation of incoming cyber-security information to determine its usefulness and potential impact to AAA Information Security.
Essential Functions
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills - ability to de-construct problems, figure out how things work, and propose countermeasures.
Must be fanatical about performing open security research.
Must consume large amounts of research quickly on a 24/7/365 basis.
Must synthesize ideas into relevant and actionable HUNT activities.
Must excel at verbal and written communications.
Exceptional aptitude, attitude, and work ethic.
Education & Experience/Licenses & Certification
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Cyber Security.
Advanced degree, experience and/or training preferred.
Bonus if you write scripts or studied Computer Science (or Physics).
Bonus if you have experience as Domain Admin, Forensics Analyst, or Network Engineer.
Prior experience as a US Cyber Intelligence Analyst is a plus.
