JOB SUMMARY

This position is required for the Self-Install direct to consumer product assembly line. They will be responsible for commissioning the Self-Install kits that will be shipped to Members and added to AAA store-fronts.

RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB DUTIES:

• Commission Self-Install Kits; optimizing the efficiency and utilization of every job without compromising the quality of work
• The main responsibility of commissioning is the programming of the equipment and troubleshooting any connectivity of the devices
• Pre-programming all contacts, sensors and add-on's for Member's Smart devices
• Consistently deliver legendary Member experiences with High-Quality Kits
• Communicate daily job condition as required
• Conclude every system commissioning with attention to detail and presentation
• Maintain a high-energy, effective and safe work environment
• Present and maintain a professional and clean work area
• Build and maintain professional relationships with peers
• Use good judgment in all situations; doing what’s right for our Members
• Build, develop and maintain a team atmosphere by being a positive influence and resource to all peers
• Provide support to other departments when help is needed; ie Packing and shipping

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Must be computer and software savvy
• Installation Technician Skills - desired
• Computer Programming Skills - desired
• Know the use of essential hand tools
• Recommended to be able to use proper safety equipment for the related task and personal protection

Education & Experience / Licenses & Certification

• High School Diploma or (GED) - required
• Industry Experience - desired; Home Security, Cable, Telecommunications, or Computer Networking

WORKING ENVIRONMENT/ MINIMUM PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Handle twisting and turning under different conditions
• Required to stand, walk, use of fine motor skills, and perform manual labor
• Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Able to handle working in warehouse conditions
