ResponsibilitiesUtilize analytical tools to access and analyze member, campaign and digital data for use in ad-hoc analytic initiatives. Consult with internal clients to understand business needs, define analytical approaches and project plans which assure those insights are developed and interpreted. Provide analytical recommendations and insights to departments across the association. Communicate analytical results to non-technical audiences in a clear and concise format. Craft presentations based on specific business partner audiences. Provide the appropriate level of detail required to take action. Create regular reports through reporting software to manage dashboards and metrics. Develop and continuously improve measurement approaches, processes, tools and techniques. Partner with data engineering and strategy/planning teams to correctly interpret, understand, and use available data.Interact with technical developers and project managers within AARP and its affiliated vendors, define requirements for analytical solutions, and to troubleshoot alternative approaches to analytical problems.Perform analyses on internal clients’ projects, including direct interaction with clients to define requirements and synthesize results of analyses. Interact with business-facing client service staff to understand and specify analytical needs, and to deliver reporting and analytics. Utilize technologies including: SPSS, Python, Tableau, SQL, Google and Adobe Analytics.
RequirementsQualified applicants must have a Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Management, Information Systems, or a related quantitative discipline, plus 3+ years of experience as a Market Analyst, Database Administrator, or related occupation in the membership or health industry.
