We’re looking for a business minded Channel Sales Manager to join our team to develop brand new channel partner relationships.

This Job is based out of the San Diego Corporate Office ; however, a highly qualified candidate based in southern California may work remote a certain percentage based on experience and location.

 

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue through the partner program and partners.
  • Identify, recruit and onboard new Partners
  • Target, manage and grow partners to drive software, SaaS, and cloud revenue, primarily in North America and Canada, with some international partners.
  • Manage sales opportunities with all designated Partners, provide accurate and updated sales funnel with the current status
  • Develop and increase Partner sales revenue to meet assigned monthly and annual targets
  • Manage and execute Partner planning strategy and develop sales pipelines including on-boarding a 30-60-90-day program and on-going management to ensure partner successfully drive sales and revenue
  • Meet with Partners, participate in joint sales calls to customers and assist the Partner in closing opportunities
  • Assist Partners in broadening their product expertise and sales opportunities, striving for growth from all associated selling resources
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge on all products, programs, and promotions
  • Evaluate and approve partner deal registrations, then provide partners with the correct sales and technical tools and resources required for each opportunity to ensure a successful sale.
  • Nurture existing Partners with organizational skills, account sales strategies, territory planning, technical cross-training, and administrative responsibilities to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained
  • Execute on strategic Partner sales campaigns to drive customer growth and adoption
  • Stay informed on competitive activity, and develop new methods of attaining Partners and customers
  • Superb interpersonal communications skills, outgoing personality, and strong presentation skills
  • Minimal travel (10%) as needed for trade-shows, and onsite visits to Partners and customers

Qualifications


Qualifications and Skills:

  • 4+ years of software/SaaS sales experience and 3+ years of software Partner & Channel management
  • Experienced with all different categories of partners (referral, consultants, system integrators, VARs, MSPs, ISVs, distributors, etc.) and the ability to identify the partner’s core competency and align it with the correct products and verticals.
  • Consistent track record in prior quota driven roles with outstanding execution and problem-solving skills, resourcefulness, and creativity
  • Strong sales, negotiation, account management, follow-up, and time management skills are essential
  • Education: BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Good business computer skills, proficient in the MS Office suite, etc
  • Nice to have, but not required: Experience with software channel partner sales with a software competitor or produts/services in the legal or accounting verticals
