The Opportunity
This position works out of our Abbott Park, IL location in the Transfusion Medicine Division. Our diagnostic solutions are used in hospitals, laboratories, and clinics around the globe. The crucial information derived from our tests, instruments and informatics systems are often the first step in patient care decision making for hundreds of health conditions from heart attacks to blood disorders to infectious diseases and cancers.
As the Associate Professional Quality, you’ll be a part of the Transfusion Medicine organization. The team located across three sites in the US and Europe is instrumental in maintaining customer satisfaction by expeditiously conducting complaint investigations related to customer issues. Responsibilities encompass the entire lifecycle of the customer complaint from receipt to written customer reply. Interactions expand beyond the team including field service personnel, technical support, commercial, software, hardware, and others. Additional responsibilities may include tracking and trending of complaint data, audit support and attendance and participation in site Quality metric reviews.

Ensures compliant documentation related to area of responsibility.

Data retrieval

Required Qualifications
Apprenticeship or Bachelor’s degree in Life Science, Engineering, or closely related discipline is required, OR relevant combination of education or experience.
