We are currently recruiting for an experienced, high performing Business Unit Finance Manager to support Abbott’s Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) division in our Sylmar, CA location. This position is a high visibility role within the CRM Division Operations FP&A team.  The Finance Manager will provide leadership oversight, coordination and planning in order to execute the financial planning processes and ensure timeliness, accuracy and integrity of financial information.  This role is also responsible for delivering analytics and business support to enable informed decision making by the executive staff as well as presentation-worthy performance summaries to be shared with senior leaders across the organization.

Responsibilities include:

• Position has full responsibility for coordinating, consolidating and developing an Annual Plan, Latest Best Estimate (LBE) and other financial forecasts for all aspects of the CRM Operations Division.
• Being the liaison between Division Operations FP&A, the five manufacturing sites within CRM, our Distribution Centers and our CRM Divisional Finance HQ FP&A along with other FP&A teams across Abbott.
• Develop and maintain a financial organization capable of meeting Division and Corporate requirements.  Responsible for staff development, mentoring, performance management, engagement and recruiting.
• Manage the month-end close process and reporting of monthly financial performance metrics.
• Maintain an effective and efficient planning process for the division and functional areas being supported, including the coordination of a planning calendar with key dates and deliverables. 
• Partner with CRM Supply Chain to plan, forecast and report monthly network inventory. Provide insight on key cash flow metrics, and prepare monthly reporting of results.
• Partner with central functions (Supply Chain, Quality, Customer & Technical Services) in all areas of their financial management

Education Required:

• Minimum of 5 years of accounting / financial planning and analysis experience and preferably 3 years of experience in cost accounting / manufacturing industry.
• BS in Accounting / Finance required; CPA or MBA preferred.
