The primary purpose of this role is to develop, implement and manage education initiatives that align to and drive business strategy of Abbott Neuromodulation, and manager the operations team for education. Individual will work closely with the CPT and DBS sales and marketing leaders to align initiatives that are developed, executed and measured for HCP engagement and impact. Individual is a key player in implementing and identifying business needs for Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) to deliver strategic message for peer to peer programs and other educational programs. Individual will oversee Professional Relations, with responsibility for HCP consulting agreements, HCP payments, and reporting HCP spend within scope of responsibilities.
The Manager of Customer Education understands and appreciates key opinion leaders and their role in supporting the business of Abbott Neuromodulation. The manager is responsible for integrating the business needs of ANMD with the potential talent pool of health care professionals (physicians, nurses and dietitians) in academia, institutions, and professional organizations/societies. The manager fosters the relationship of KOL's with Abbott and supports our business strategies for education. The manager must be able to effectively communicate to health care professionals, foster and support the relationships and recommend approaches to most effectively leverage business needs with health care professionals via educational strategies.
This position has the responsibility to ensure that internal and external strategic stakeholders have a clear understanding of the strategic objectives and goals as outlined by ANMD Leadership. In collaboration with commercial teams and medical affairs, this individual works to deliver consistent and engaging content that supports the ANMD global growth objectives.
