The Manager Executive Services is responsible for the administration of the Executive Automobile, Executive Limousine Programs and STAR Program.  The department’s main objectives include: 

  • Provide customer service support to Executives and their executive administrative assistants
  • Schedule Exec Limo and STAR Resources
  • Manage the Executive Auto Program
  • Manage the Corporate Limo Program

The position manages capitalized leases on executive vehicles and limousines worth $1.6MM, executive limousines worth $160M, and annual fuel and maintenance expense for these vehicles. The qualified individual will manage daily operations for up to 4 non-exempt STAR Program resources, 1 Resource Scheduler and 3 Executive Chauffeurs. 

Responsible for:

  • Daily management and oversight of STAR Resource assignment scheduling
  • Oversight of limo scheduling
  • $1.6MM budget (STAR, Executive Auto and Limo Programs)
  • Marketing of program services (STAR)
  • Direct communication, both written and verbal, with all levels of management including Corporate Officers

Core Job Responsibilities

Customer services support to Executives and admins

  • Flawlessly manage the Executive Automobile program which includes high touch customer service to 50 Corporate Officers, accurate monthly reporting to Corporate Payroll, and approval and payment of monthly maintenance invoices. Negotiate pricing for vehicle purchases on behalf of the Corporate Officers. 
  • Flawlessly manage the Executive Limo program which provides livery service to all Corporate Officers, their guests, spouses, and members of the board of directors.  Manage the reservation system to 0 errors.  Maintain 4 vehicles and manage 3 executive chauffeurs.  Ensure program provides productivity efficiencies for Corporate Officers. Partner with Global Security on Executive security needs at off-site functions.
  • Develop and maintain internal partnerships with Corporate Risk Management to protect Abbott’s liability and lower Abbott’s limo and executive insurance costs; Global Environmental Health and Safety to develop and maintain a limo and executive auto Safety Policy; Global Security to protect the executives while riding in the executive limos

Accountable for:

  • Managing STAR and Limo scheduling conflicts with all levels of Abbott management including Corporate Officers.
  • Supervising, hiring, training and motivating STAR Resource and Executive Limo personnel including up to 8 Abbott employees
  • Developing and implementation of marketing strategy for STAR Program.
  • Development, planning and implementation of activities and projects to achieve departmental strategies, goals, objectives, and individual development, related to department functions.
  • Having thorough technical knowledge of STAR Program and Executive Limo scheduling systems.
  • Developing criteria and reporting program metrics.
  • Ability to effectively communicate sensitive and timely material with all levels of exempt and nonexempt employees.
  • Responsible for STAR, Executive Limo and Executive Auto program budgets with combined $1.6 MM annually

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree, Business Administration, Liberal Arts, or Communications or direct experience
  • Minimum 3 years working with Corporate Officer level colleagues
