We have an exciting
opportunity for a Manager Material Management within our Abbott Rapid
Diagnostics business located at Scarborough, Maine. In this role, you will
manage warehouse operations, including receiving, material preparation for
manufacturing and final product shipping. Develop and implement cGMP compliant
warehousing processes and procedures (SOPs) to support the site and to support
approval of the Scarborough site by regulatory agencies. Your will
meet customer requirements by maintaining accurate distribution plans for
both domestic and international shipments. You will collaborate with Quality,
Purchasing, and Operations teams to ensure site and company goals are met. You
will maintain the warehouse physical inventory through routine cycle counts and
investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracy.
You will maintain all warehouse areas in a state of cGMP and OSHA compliance at
all times and ensure warehouse materials are stored and issued/disposed of
properly, taking into consideration storage conditions and materials status,
including rejected and hazardous materials. You will manage all shipping,
receiving and Inventory Control functions and ensure smooth material flow and
transactions. You will work with freight vendors to negotiate distribution
contracts.
