The Market Access Manager will:
Major Responsibilities: Coordinate and develop market access projects with internal and external stakeholders; provide guidance on reimbursement research as well as patient advocacy efforts. Manage deliverables such as reimbursement dossiers, reimbursement landscape analyses, consultant driven research projects; ensure that deliverables are accomplished on time and within budget. Work with Global Market Access and Reimbursement, Global Marketing, R&D, Medical, Clinical, HEOR and selected consultants and KOL's to create effective channels of communication and gain support in the formation of the value proposition and the implementation of the strategy. Assist in guiding the outcome of Health Technology Assessments, where they are used to determine coverage, coding and payment.
Education: Masters Degree is preferred; desirable would be higher education in health studies, business or economics due to anticipated involvement in HEOR evidence creation to support reimbursement applications.
Background: Minimum of three years of experience in Market Access and Reimbursement for pharmaceutical products, medical devices or diagnostics, gained, ideally in more than one National healthcare delivery system. Good working knowledge of market access and reimbursement pathways, health technology assessment, Health Economic and Outcomes Research (HEOR) as well as peer review publication strategies are highly desirable; excellent verbal and written communication skills in English is a must and one or more additional languages would be a plus.
