Mold Technician is responsible for m old maintenance for a single and two shot injection mold process at our Richmond plant facility. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Preventative maintenance, inspections, cleaning, trouble shooting components, repairs and maintaining hot runner and valve gate systems
• Build components and detail parts from sketches and drawing
• Support molding and assembly lines with tooling needs
• Maintain a preventative maintenance program and related supplies
• Maintain a safe, clean and orderly work environment in a food grade manufacturing facility
• Follow all company policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as requested

Basic Qualifications:

• Good working knowledge of all machine shop equipment
• minimum of 2 years Proto Trak Mill experience
• minimum 5 ears experience with injection molding process as it relates to the tooling and trouble shooting
• strong problem- solving and analytical skills
• good communication and interpersonal skills
• Team oriented, self-starter
