The Opportunity

This position works out of our Abbot Park, IL location in the CHR, Corporate Human Resources division.

As the Talent Acquisition Operations Specialist, you’ll deliver high quality solutions through cutting edge technology that improve the hiring manager and candidate experience as well increase recruiter efficiency.  We leverage our strategic partnerships with both internal Abbott HR Technology staff and third-party vendors to complete these implementations.  The Talent Acquisition Operations team is responsible for technical and recruiter support, project management, vendor management, training, communications and effectiveness reporting.

What You’ll Work On

  • Provide day-to-day technology and process support for candidates, recruiters and coordinators.
  • Partner closely with HR Technology and third-party vendors to troubleshoot complex issues and identify appropriate resolutions.
  • Partner closely with the HR Shared Services team to ensure timely resolution for process exceptions and corrections.
  • Complete test scripts for break-fixes, small enhancements as well as perform regression testing for larger implementations.
  • Maintain communication templates, training materials and job aids to reflect the latest features.
  • Perform regular system audits to ensure data quality

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Computer Science
  • Prior experience working in Talent Acquisition, HR Information Systems or HR Technology
  • Experience with Workday or Phenom People
  • Working knowledge of SDLC process
  • Organized, has high standards, process driven, and curious

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4 years of experience  working  in Talent Acquisition, HR Information Systems or HR
  • Great customer service skills
  • Mastery of Microsoft Suite
