Job DescriptionThis position will be responsible for supporting Specialty Sales Teams and marketing customers, with actionable, efficient and timely support, data and information to promote revenue/market share growth and establish and monitor performance and market trends. Primary responsibilities include: sales and marketing analytics; incentive compensation reporting and administration; business intelligence system administration; pricing and contracting analysis. Working directly with Sales and Marketing teams, to provide operational solutions/analyses to maximize sales force efficiencies.
Main Areas of Responsibilities
- Manage commercial sales reporting and analytics, sales performance management, and sales measure framework development. Ensure analysis is prioritized, developed based on business/customer requirements, and documented as required. Present results in a clear and concise format with a focus on findings resulting in the ability execute strategy.
- Development, modeling and administration of sales incentive plans; ensure timely payments of all commissions/bonus payouts; coordinate with external vendors to ensure all payment calculations meet Accounting/Compliance standards.
- Coordinate with Sales/Marketing teams to translate business requirements into actionable, systems oriented solutions. Work directly with I.S. resources to configure, and administer systems (Business Objects, Salesforce.com, etc.) to better meet the needs of the commercial organization.
- Establish and maintain cross function relationships with internal departments (IS, HR, Sales Administration, etc.). Keep Commercial leaders to date on the status of issues and analyses, including known problems being worked and perceived risks.
- Define and assist with the design of sales related training and on-boarding programs.
Assist with accruals and rebate calculations for various pricing programs. - Ad-hoc analysis as required.
QualificationsEducation and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare or related experience preferred
- Minimum 3 years as an Analyst, Marketing business environment
- Experience with business process and sales performance management
- Strong analytical experience, reporting, documentation, and problem solving skills
- Project Management & presentation skills
- Advanced Excel Skills are a requirement
- Proficient in other Microsoft Office Products, Word, Power Point, and Access
- Experience working with Business Intelligence and SFA applications (Business Objects, SAP, Salesforce.com)
Essential Skills and Abilities:
- Process oriented with strong business understanding.
- A high degree of tact, diplomacy and discretion in handling priority conflicts and resources constraints.
- Highly developed interpersonal, oral and written communication, negotiation, facilitation and leadership skills with a commitment to internal/external customer responsiveness.
- Ability to Travel (typically < 20%)
