ABELCINE Technical Sales Assistant Salary in the United States

AbelCine is a leading Digital Cinema and HD camera equipment supplier to the motion picture and broadcast industries. We offer sales, training, rental and repair services to the professional filmmaking community with offices in NY, CHI and LA. Our NYC headquarters is currently seeking a Technical Sales Assistant with experience and interest in fashion, photography and cinematography to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic, hardworking individual to participate in our exciting and fast paced company. 

This key position encompasses the following responsibilities:  

Sales & Training Support 

• Provide administrative and demonstrative support for highly technical products such as StyleShoots and Agito. 
• Assist with sales quotations, invoicing, scheduling and demonstrations 
• Serve as primary point of contact for these manufacturers 
• Assist onsite customers with their product inquiries and facilitate sales of expendables  
• Receive walk in traffic and ensure they are escorted to appropriate department/personnel  
• Oversee the organization and neatness of our showroom  
• Assist with tracking demo and loaner equipment 

Administrative Support 

• Act as Deputy Safety Compliance Officer for our office safety task force by enforcing COVID-19 related policies and protocols relating to the safeguarding of employees and clients 
• Assist with answering and route incoming calls  
• Other duties as assigned by management    

Successful applicants should possess the following attributes: 

• Undergraduate degree, or equivalent combination of work experience and education 
• 2+ years combined experience in fashion and photography / cinematography 
• 2+  year’s of experience in customer service  
• High level of professionalism, dependability, maturity and emotional intelligence 
• Customer service oriented, outgoing, friendly demeanor; ability to effectively communicate with customers in a highly professional manner 
• Willingness to learn more and immerse themselves in the industry and technology; Strong desire to grow with the company 
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills 
• Ability to work overtime during company events 
• Prior experience with MS Office Suite and Salesforce is a plus 
• Comfort with high ambiguity and ability to adapt to frequent changing priorities and growth 

This is a full time, non-exempt, salaried position.
