The Associate Creative Director (ACD) oversees and supervises the day-to-day job functions of the art and copy creative team members, including supervisors, on assigned projects or brands. ACDs actively facilitate novel creative solutions and help incorporate emerging technologies or other novel approaches to broaden the conceptual range of solutions. This individual should exhibit strong leadership qualities, with the ability to mentor new Creatives and work enthusiastically across agency departments to foster a collaborative team environment. The ACD will collaborate with Creative and Group Creative Directors, sharing the status of assigned projects and helping to implement their direction. Across digital, print, social, and motion—ACDs guide project teams to maintain agency standards of creative excellence, reasonable timelines, and profitability, while achieving clients’ marketing goals. ACDs are capable of forming positive, mutually-respectful working relationships with clients.
