 I.  PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

• The purpose of this position is to be responsible for industry research, product analysis and reporting.

II. JOB DUTIES:

Product Analysis

• Support the overall responsibilities of the Product and Client Solutions Americas to evaluate existing and potential fund products and solutions in the region.
• Report and evaluate relevant data on Aberdeen Funds and competitors
• Identify trends within asset classes and channels (performance, fund flows, new issues etc.)
• Evaluate Aberdeen composite performance in new asset classes against existing competitive funds

Team Management

• Support senior management requirements in developing and evaluating business strategy in the Americas
• Quarterly /monthly internal reporting production and maintenance

III. QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Bachelors degree required
• Minimum one year work experience in financial services
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Data Science (Python) , EXCEL,WORD and PowerPoint

IV. CONDITIONS OF WORK: 

• Travel required at times.  Likely to be 5% to 10% of time
• Overtime as required by certain projects
