Aberdeen is currently searching for talented individuals with strong problem-solving skills and an intellectual curiosity to join Aberdeen’s growing Data Analyst team as a Data Analyst. This is a unique opportunity that will enable individuals to expand their understanding of the business landscape, hone their data science skills, and expand their ability to communicate business intelligence to Aberdeen clients. The Data Analyst willwork with high volume behavioral data identify signals that indicate purchase intent and other business activity. This individual willapply data science skills to answer business questions and communicate his/her findings for maximum impact. 

• Apply the appropriate data science techniques to answer client questions
• Optimize and configure models to produce useful, operational data for clients
• Communicate research findings through visualizations and narrative
• Identify, understand, and test new insights from data
• Contribute to Aberdeen’s data science community of practice
• Support pre-sales activities by explaining Aberdeen’s methodology and preparing samples

• Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical skills
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
• Highly motivated, energetic, and able to work independently
• Bachelor's degree is required
• Experience in statistical analyses and scientific methods (academic and practical)
• Experience conducting market, economic or financial research(academic or practical)
• Foundational understanding of general business concepts and terminology
• Prefer experience using data management & analysis technologies such as SQL, SAS, Stata, PowerBI, Tableau, etc
• Prefer experience creating dynamic dashboards/reports to provide valuable, actionable insights
• Prefer exposure to and interest in machine learning, natural language processing technologies
• Desire to be responsible for own success, entrepreneurial spirit is very welcome
