What does a Marketing Research Manager, Audience Insights do at companies like ABLETO, INC.?

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Director, B2B/Brand, the Marketing Research Manager for Audience Insights will develop research plans, synthesize learnings, and share out insights with business implications across the organization. This role works across the entire marketing organization using a variety of user research methods to create a pipeline of insights across AbleTo audiences including health plan customers, employers, eligible plan members, consumers, therapists, and behavioral coaches. These insights inform new marketing strategies, brand positioning, audience segmentation, value propositions, creative/message optimizations and more. This role requires a mission driven researcher who is passionate about learning about our audiences, is a tireless advocate for AbleTo’s various users and is able to effortlessly turn what you heard in the field into actionable insights.

  • Develop a strong understanding of AbleTo audiences and socialize your learnings across the organization
  • Comfortable running an end-to-end research initiative, gaining alignment on the objective, the methodology, independently recruiting participants, and synthesizing and presenting your learnings
  • Comfortable briefing agency partners to lead end-to-end research and guiding their work with critical thinking and ideas that deliver against business objectives
  • Ability to synthesize and communicate complex and ambiguous topics
  • Ability to blend qualitative and quantitative data to take your insights to the next level
  • Experiment with ways to cultivate and build empathy for our users across the company 
  • Develop and maintain online panel of audience members to leverage for regular user input
  • Experience utilizing social listening tools, third party research and competitive analysis to gather insights, inform research methodology and supplement research findings
  • Leverage audience insights to optimize brand positioning, therapist and behavioral coach recruiting and retention, case manager referrals, consumer demand generation, product value proposition development, user experience optimization, etc.

  • 2+ years consumer research experience
