AC CORPORATION Safety Coordinator Salary in the United States

We are searching for an experienced safety professional to support a group of around 85 employees in King, NC. This person will be a customer onsite safety representative and be responsible for OSHA guidelines, customer and company safety policies and supporting administrative tasks.

Typical Duties

• Typical schedule is 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Some weekends and overtime may be necessary.

• Conduct OSHA safety training as required.

• Conduct daily job hazard analysis and review with team.

• Walk site (to include roofs) and evaluate environment and employees for OSHA compliance and risk.

• Immediately correct risks.

• Communicate with site foreman and EHS Manager regularly.

• Complete site assessment forms and forward to Safety EHS Manager.

• Conduct weekly tool box meetings

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in manufacturing safety industry

• Must have 500 certification.

• Must have OSHA 30 certification.

• Ability to take detailed instruction.

• Positive "can do" attitude, strong work ethic and a team player

• Good problem-solving abilities, communication skills, aptitude and manual dexterity

• Ability to work with minimum supervision
