Job Description:

At least six months previous related work experience preferred.

High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.

Good math skills
Ability to count merchandise accurately
Ability to understand computer printouts
Communication - effective listening, speaking and writing
Operate computer - hand held and/or desktop

Regular attendance and the ability to complete assigned shift is essential.

Load cartons and totes into trailer for delivery to Academy stores.
Set up work area.
Shrink wrap/stage pallets.
Responsible for multiple shipping lanes.
Secure loads to prevent damage.
Arrange cartons on pallets keeping in mind size, weight, height to balance loads safely.
Maintain safe and clean working environment by adhering to sanitation policies and procedures.
Required to learn company policies, procedures and safety rules.
Maintains flexibility regarding job assignments- works with other departments and works scheduled overtime as needed.
