Job Description:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in in English, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or Public Relations

Work Experiences:

• 3+ years of related work experience in related field or role such as journalism, PR agency, corporate communications, media relations

Skills:

• Exceptional writing and editing communication skills
• Demonstrate strong writing skills to simplify complex messages
• Demonstrated skills and knowledge in leveraging both digital and traditional internal channels to create impactful communications that drive awareness and engagement
• Skilled in drafting both creative and corporate communications copy
• Experience supporting and developing creative design content for presentations
• Comfortable with web-based tools and collaboration technologies as well as social media
• Familiarity with corporate event planning
• Detail oriented, proven organizational and time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and work with cross-functional team members
• Creative and innovative communications thinker
• Excellent customer service skills
• Self-motivated, works well independently and on team projects
• Ability to prioritize, solve problems independently and work effectively under pressure when necessary
• Flexible, change embracing in rapidly evolving work environment
• Skilled in MS Office products (specifically PowerPoint) and LotusNotes or similar e-mail system

Responsibilities:

• Develop departmental and company-wide communications, from message development to execution
• Write, edit, review and enhance internal communication materials including presentations, newsletters and handouts for various audiences (Senior Executives, Front Line Leaders and Individual Contributors)
• Develop and manage timely and relevant content for targeted social media channels
• Edit and develop content for various internal communications channels including company intranet and TV monitors
• Manage internal communications and social media editorial calendar
• Assist in deployment of multi-media content for internal audiences
• Support with execution of Company-sponsored events
• Assist media relations team with PR-related activities such as drafting media advisories, press releases and making calls to media outlets as needed.
• Required to learn company policies, procedures
• Duties may change and team members may be required to perform other duties as assigned

• Adhere to company work hours, policies, procedures and rules governing professional staff behavior
• Regular attendance required
• Up to 5% travel with possible overnight stay
