Job Description:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study or equivalent years of related work experience required

Work Experiences:

  • 3+ years of previous related work experience required
  • Experience with inventory management, merchandise planning, and replenishment required

Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal, written, verbal communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interface effectively with individuals at various levels
  • Demonstrated analytical, organizational, problem solving and creative thinking skills
  • Ability to pay strict attention to detail and meet critical deadlines within a high volume, fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated with the ability to meet and exceed position requirements under minimal direction and supervision, independently and within a team setting
  • Ability to effectively prioritize workload in a fast paced, frequently changing environment
  • Ability to set high goals for personal and  group accomplishment
  • Responds positively to change, embracing and using new practices or values to accomplish goals and solve problems
  • Maintain the customer’s perspective as a driving force behind business decisions and activities
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn Oracle Retail applications

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Category Management Teams on inventory availability, target inventory levels, replenishment flow, and allocation and replenishment strategy for New Relocation & Update Stores.
  • Coordinate efforts with Space Planning Team to assure timely delivery of accurate CAD, Floor plan and Master Capacity Data for all New, Relocation and Update Stores.
  • Work in partnership with Distribution Centers on the selection process dates for product, the order of product picking / loading, and the delivery schedule for all New, Relocation and Update Stores. This also includes monitoring WMS reporting to catch any discrepancies, cancelled or missed picks.
  • Liaise with New, Relocation and Update Stores on all product opportunity & execution beginning 3 months pre-opening through 6 months post-opening.
  • Tracing direct store purchase orders to ensure timely delivery & proper SIM receipt prior to Soft Opening.
  • Ensure all Fixtures owned by the Category Management Teams are ordered and delivered on time.
  • Analyze all Floor plans to confirm product is secured and has clear placement in store.
  • Prior to Project, reviewing Market Analysis reports to ensure all partners are informed of the market attributes & categories expected to over (under) index vs ASO average.
  • Visit each new & relocation store pre-opening to review current state. Record areas of concern and discuss any opportunities with store team.
  • Communicate with all New & Relocation stores during the Project to address opportunities & challenges and utilize organizational and project management skills to direct work activities within critical path timelines.
  • Create and Distribute Reporting for the Update Store projects to the Category Management Teams to identify items that need to be removed from Update location and/or items that need to be added to update location based on current capacity standards. 
  • Confirm that all Update Store transfers were executed by Store prior to Start of construction
  • Develop a thorough understanding of Academy policies, procedures, and safety rules
  • Duties may change; team members may be required to perform other duties as assigned
