Overview

The Program Manager works directly with and under the supervision of the Clinical Director, and Executive Director to provide supervision to the mental health practitioners delivering rehabilitative services to clients with mental illness. The Program Manager provides consistent instruction, support, and skills training to direct service staff and team leads for the purpose of promoting basic living and social skills, community intervention, and transitioning to community living.

Essential Functions

• Focus on work results in quality service and performance.
• Identify and discuss with supervisors and appropriate staff members, ways to improve work processes, efficiency, and quality.
• Coordinates and attends regular treatment team staff meetings and provides pertinent input regarding client concerns, progress, etc., and works collaboratively with Program and Clinical Director concerning treatment issues.
• Provide administrative supervision, consultation support to community mental health services direct service staff, clinical professionals, mental health practitioners, case managers, and peer specialists
• Partner with Clinical Supervisors to assess client progress and improve individual client services Consult with direct service staff members on matters of agency policy, statute rule
• Update and revise agency policies and procedures related to service delivery
• Report to Program, Executive, Clinical and Financial Directors on progress on key quality and development indicators

Required Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in one of the Behavioral Arts and Sciences
• At least four year’s experience providing services to adults and/or children with mental illness, IRT, ARMHS, CTSS, community mental health clinics, or other similar community mental health services
• At least two supervisory experience in /human services
• Familiarity with state and federal law relating to mental health and health care services
• Competence using a variety of electronic communication and health information management technologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
