The Tech Support position at Accend Services bridges the gap between information technology and high-quality client care. This role works closely with clinical, operational, and administrative staff to design, implement, and maintain a wide range of information management systems within the organization.

Salary $18-20, Hourly depending on experience and qualifications.


Skills and Abilities

  • Familiarity with use, maintenance, and trouble-shooting of Macintosh/Apple products
  • Basic understanding of a variety of other office devices/hardware
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 including OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams and other apps in this online suite, and the ability to teach others and develop and maintain systems for managing file storage and collaboration.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA laws and the ability to consult on and enforce data privacy policies
  • Familiarity with a variety of open source office software suites and the ability to teach others to use them.
  • Familiarity with, or ability to learn to write, queries in a database using SQL
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving
  • Ability to teach use of software and hardware
  • Ability to teach assembly, organization and analysis of data and create reports in spreadsheets
  • Ability to learn our in-house EHR system and quickly become the expert and trainer, monitoring bug reports, and change requests, reporting to the development team and helping set development priorities
  • Ability to provide technical support and problem solving for software and hardware problems in person and over the phone
