ACCEPT Education Collaborative is a regional non-profit educational organization with locations in Medway and Natick, MA. ACCEPT provides a wide range of programs and services including special education for students with moderate to severe needs, specialized transportation, home-based services, behavioral and educational consultation, and professional development. ACCEPT offers a continuum of programs and services Prek-12 and to age 22 for both students in life skills and Therapeutic programs. Our programs address autism spectrum disorders, emotional/behavioral needs, global impairments, cognitive/intellectual disabilities, language disorders, ADHD/ADD, and nonverbal learning disability.
Responsibilities
Manages and maintains the collaborative’s database management system (MMS/FOCUS) for all student and staff information. Coordinate with Program staff for ensuring information is current on a weekly basis. Responsible for year-end preparation, rollover, and setup for new school year set up. Manage mass enroll of students and set up classroom enrollments.
Process, manage, and submit all collaborative/district reporting as mandated by MA ESE – included but not limited to EPIMS, SCS, and SSDR. Reporting completed in a timely manner according to DESE deadlines.
Organize, review, and correct/amend data for reporting to meet MA DESE requirements.
Responsible for staying up to date on DESE reporting requirements, training and use of the security portal.
Participate on Project Team for development of Student Information System for DESE reporting as well as collaborative use within classrooms. Areas of work include the Staff Roster, work assignments, student schedules, class lists, and incidence and discipline reporting. Ensure data is complete and accurate.
Requirements
Great attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational skills, positive and proactive attitude, strong communicator.
Experience with student information systems, district data collection and reporting processes, and an understanding of SIF interoperability frameworks is a plus.
*15-20 hours/week – days flexible
