ACCEPT is looking for a full-time Human Resources Administrator with a passion for collaborating, and being apart of a dynamic team. This position provides administrative support to the Director of Human Resources and within all areas of the Department of Human Resources, including onboarding, record-keeping, file maintenance, benefits management and administration, HRIS entry, and performs various activities related to HR Department functions.
Qualifications Required:
● 2-3 years of experience in Benefit Administration/Human Resources
● Acute attention to detail and accuracy
● Proven ability to work with confidential and sensitive information
● Proven ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
● Proven ability to multitask, meet deadlines and adapt to a fluid, fast-paced, high-growth environment
● Proven ability to work independently without constant supervision
● Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or 2 to 5 years’ related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Qualifications Desired:
● Prior experience in a school setting/non-profit organization

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
● Assists Director of Human Resources in all administrative aspects of the HR Department
● Assists with all internal and external HR related inquiries and requests (employment verification, wage verification, etc)
● Under the direction of the Director of HR leads the implementation of a new HRIS system
● Oversees and ensures proper onboarding process by performing all required background checks, including I-9 verification, processing all new hire paperwork provided by recruiting coordinator, providing / coordinating necessary employee training, originating employee file (paper) and/or via inputting information into the HRIS
● Maintains effective electronic and paper HR record systems that ensure timely retrieval of all relevant information related to employees and any HR related matters
● Works collaboratively with all other support staff in getting the necessary work done effectively, efficiently, and positively
● Oversees and ensures proper employee termination process including but not limited to coordinating all system access deactivation, collecting company property, coordinating COBRA paperwork, managing unemployment insurance notifications, ensuring proper filing of paperwork
● Schedules meetings and maintains agendas
● Performs other administrative support functions as necessary
● Oversees the administration of all company offered benefits
● Maintains the benefits information on the company intranet site
● Addresses company-wide benefits communications and facilitates annual open enrollment process
● Understands and effectively communicates FMLA and ADA implications as they relate to LOAs/disabilities
● Coordinates all benefit enrollments, terminations, and post-employment benefit offerings for 250+ employees
● Acts as a subject matter expert on ACCEPT’s benefits, responding to all benefit inquiries on plan provisions, benefit enrollments, status changes and other general questions
● Coordinates employee LOAs and disability claims
● Assists the Director of Human Resources in evaluating and revising internal processes to help reduce costs and increase efficiencies,
● Checks monthly billings for all group plans for accuracy and reviews bi-weekly payroll deductions
● Provides new employees with explanation of company offered benefits and assists them with enrollment process, including FSA and HSA accounts
● Conducts Annual Open Enrollment and informs employees of changes to the benefits structure
● Manages all Retirement accounts which includes billing, reporting and all inquiries related to:
MTRS
State Board of Retirement
TIAA (403B)
● Manages Department of Unemployment requests, notifications and reports
● Coordinates benefits with AFLAC administrator and payroll specialist to ensure accurate billing for new enrollments
● Ensures timely, accurate, and appropriate execution of benefit enrollment, communication, employee notification and posting compliance, documentation processes, and leave coordination
● Manages all workers compensation and liability claims
● Maintains all Federal and State posting requirements within all of ACCEPT’s locations
● Respects the confidentiality of the office
● Participates in special projects and seeks additional responsibilities
Nonessential Functions:
● Occasional travel to other Collaborative locations
● Other related duties as assigned
