We are currently seeking a Mobile Mental Health Clinician to join our dynamic team. This position requires a Master’s degree, Licensed Masters Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Mental Health Clinician, and 1–3 years minimum experience. We are looking for a professional staff member qualified to perform on-base and on-call duties within the Mobile Mental Health Team to support Ulster County hospital ER settings for discharges and in the Ulster county community by implementing safety plans and follow-up support until linkage to outpatient services is in place.
Job Description:
In this role you will:
-Clinicians are required to be skilled in the clinical triage and assessment of all emergency, urgent, and routine calls
-Knowledgeable about all Ulster County resources with particular knowledge of the services of the Agency
-Be able to assess needs of each individual served and intervene as appropriate to the situation
-Be able to coordinate outreach services, service planning, follow-up support and administrative back up as needed and clinically appropriate
-Work in compliance with MMHT, agency and regulatory procedural guidelines
-Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
-Master’s Degree and NYS Licensure LMSW, LCSW or LMHC
-1 to 3 years’ experience preferably with individuals with mental health diagnosis
-Strong verbal and written communication skills
-Flexibility with hours as may require some evenings and weekends
-Bilingual English and Spanish speaking a plus
