Job Description:
In this position, the Residential Counselor Peer will be skilled at engagement, assessment, crisis intervention, advocacy, linking to community services, and teaching the skills needed for successful community integration.
In this role you will:
-provide moment to moment care, support, and structure to our guests at the pace and as tolerated by each guest.
-have lived experience and mastery of the skills needed to assist others successfully addressing crisis situations and activating recovery and will utilize their unique perspective as a critical component of our service delivery.
-have the ability to partner with people in a variety of roles and with various personalities to create the highest level of community integration possible.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have:
-Minimum four (4) years of experience in a related field. -Assoc. Degree and two (2) years of experience in a related field. -Bachelor’s Degree and one (1) year of experience in a related field. -Intentional Peer Support Training provided |
