We are currently seeking an Amazon Marketing Intern for Summer 2020 (at the close of intern’s Spring college session through their return for Fall session) to join our Amazon Team in our Lake Zurich, IL headquarters. There is potential for an intern to extend the working relationships with limited hours throughout the school year.  Marketing internships will focus on several of these following areas:

• eCommerce Marketing & Sales
• Product and Channel Marketing
• Market Research

Primary Responsibilities:  Support critical activities in support of the 10k ASIN Amazon.com portfolio:

• Managing issue resolution with Amazon product listings
• SEO and Keyword support for Amazon product listings
• Running and analyzing Vendor Central reports to determine trends, business impact and propose resolutions
• Conduct market audits and provides product placement analysis
• Perform competitive analysis including pricing, product positioning, specifications, and go-to-market activities
• Assistance with on-going projects that require gathering data from the cross-functional teams along with the development of the action plans for project execution
• Participate in day-to-day product marketing activities

Candidate Requirements:

• Currently enrolled college student pursuing a Bachelors’ degree in business or marketing with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (4.0 scale)
• Ability to work full time (40 hours) during the summer, potentially part-time (10-20 hours) during the next school year
• Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; proficient in pivot and Vlookups
• Ability to organize and prioritize in a deadline-oriented environment
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills; eager to learn and engage
• Strong attention to detail
• Self-starter; can manage projects independently; actively seeks progress and resolution
• Team player / good attitude / mature
