ACCO Brands/GBC is seeking a Field Service Technician to repair and maintain roll laminators, business card cutters, ream paper cutters, punch machines, and other print finishing equipment in the Massachusetts Metro South areas. Get back to utilizing your skillset and enjoy repairing office equipment again as a GBC Field Service Technician!

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform break/fix service calls in an assigned area
• Service, install, diagnose, and repair binding, laminating, cutting, folding, stitching, and other document handling equipment in print centers and schools
• Manage parts, inventory, and daily schedule to meet customer expectations
• Provide operator training to customers on machine operations and job setup
• Support other technicians with repairs and maintenance when needed, including travel to other field locations in emergency situations
• Provide outstanding service to our clients and promote business.

Qualifications:

• Two (2) year associate degree, trade certifications, or equivalent field experience required
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required
• Electro-Mechanical experience using a multi-meter to troubleshoot circuits and reading schematics to troubleshoot machines. Prior experience as a HVAC technician, Electrician, Automotive Mechanic, or repair work performed in the Military preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic experience
• Excellent customer service, communication, reliability, and time management skills
• Self-starter and self-motivated
• Experience with utilizing a computer and software such as Microsoft Office
