Global Marketing Manager – TruSens Air Purifiers

This role is responsible for influencing and executing the strategic vision for the TruSens Brand and product.  TruSens is ACCO Brand’s first Wellness Consumer brand that launched in 2019 are we are looking to grow the brand exponentially.  In order for us to accomplish this, we are looking for entrepreneurial, nimble and passionate individuals to join the TruSens family. 

This position will lead, deliver and manage the global identity of the brand on the website, packaging, out of box experience, enabling the brand to deliver growth. This person needs to envision and articulate how brand positioning combined with product marketing can maximize the consumer experience and can be leveraged as a competitive advantage.  The role is of influence and collaboration, so it’s important that this person forms strong relationships with marketing, product, digital marketing and content teams.  The role is highly entrepreneurial. This position has high visibility within the ACCO Brands organization and is key to delivering growth.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and oversee execution of strategic brand plan, including communication/voice and visual guidelines.
  • Drive cohesive brand approach across media and disciplines, providing meaningful differentiation and competitive advantage.
  • Strategic planning with global product, channel and global marketing teams, leveraging brand to deliver sustainable growth.
  • Influence the development and execution of annual demand generation plans, including strategic direction of all creative assets, media plans, PR, digital marketing, direct mail, etc.
  • Ensure global consistency across Brand Experience (BX) environments by creating standards for brand experiences and establish best practices that elevate the brand.
  • Drive agency relationship & contract negotiations; Agency of Record (AOR) coordination/supervision, including the communication of the contract guidelines with product and digital marketing teams.
  • Manage copywriter and graphic design execution and collaborate with channel/product marketing on the necessary requirements.
  • Lead website development, upgrades, content development and merchandising by collaborating with IT, digital teams and technical agencies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and/or Design required. Advanced Degree such as MBA in Marketing or masters in product/graphic design is a plus.
  • 5-7 years of business and/or functional leadership experience required, background in Marketing, Design or Entrepreneurship preferred.
  • Background in web design and/or digital marketing a plus.
  • Proven success in building and managing strong consumer brands
  • Proven expertise in leading and influencing cross-functional teams
  • Tolerance for complexity and ambiguity, strong self-management skills necessary for this role
  • An entrepreneurial mind set along with strong attention to detail
  • Must have experience and knowledge of consumer research and insights and how that is integrated and used as a foundation approach to brand positioning.
  • Strong proficiency with MS-Office software including presentation software (i.e. PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication, creative vision, project management and relationship building skills required.  Demonstrated proficient interpersonal, listening and negotiation skills
