Job Responsibilities for a Lead Project Manager:
• Ability to lead and drive Achieve’s digital transformation projects in accordance to the client’s vision
• Identifying client’s business needs for projects and acting as a client advocate to make certain that all expectations are met
• Able to easily identify and resolve internal and external roadblocks in order for projects to be accomplished in a smooth manner
• Constantly improving internal and external processes and leading them up
• Will be formulating the project plans, in accordance with the goals and timing
• Establishing anticipated costs and risk assessments for projects and working closely with Project Managers on delivering those assessments in a timely manner
• Controlling the scope of project and budget as the project progresses and reporting to senior management if projects are not on track
• Able to identify resourcing needs to ensure we stay within budget
• Working closely with the developers to guarantee projects are being executed to client’s expectations
• Constantly evaluating the project for opportunities to improve performance, and taking precautions for risk and relaying any project concerns to senior management
• Working closely with the AM’s, Engineers, and PM's for successful execution
• Understands and has experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Provide team with structured guidance throughout projects, both technically and organizationally
Knowledge and Expectations of Lead Project Manager:
• Experience with ticket tracking, software and project management tools such as Jira/Confluence, Excel, Basecamp
• Highly organized with exceptional time management skills
• Critical and strategic thinker
• Open and excited to learn new technologies
• Team management and development skills
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle and knowledge of Agile project management
• Ability to manage 3-5 large projects or 5-8 small projects at one time
• Ability to lead a PM team of 4-5 people
• Ability to lead a team of 30 across the organization
• Daily reporting across multiple systems to ensure project success

Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or Information Technology
• 5-10 years in project management preferred
• Experience with using Content Management System (CMS)
• Candidate must possess strong technical aptitude and understanding of software development; strong passion for technology a plus
• Drupal knowledge preferred
