The PC Technician II will provide PC support for all employees; while minimizing disruption to the business and maximizing system uptime.

Essential Functions:

• Helpdesk tickets; including both software and hardware problems originating on the network, PC, laptop, telephone, and voicemail-related problems.
• Install, configure, and maintain PCs, printers, and other peripheral devices in a Windows7 and 10 environments.
• Create and support software images for all workstation types.
• Work with IS Risk team to ensure all AV and security standards are met on corporate PCs.
• Set up new employees with appropriate hardware, software, and peripherals prior to new employee’s start date.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist all customers in an efficient and professional manner.
• Develop enhancements to current procedures and processes to increase department efficiency.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Assist in inventory maintenance including completing appropriate forms, verifying incoming requested equipment, and tagging equipment.
• Assist in projects and all other network systems tasks as needed.
• Assist with server and network hardware support as requested.
• Perform other duties as assigned or directed.
• On-call availability as needed or assigned by IS manager.

Required:

• High school diploma/equivalent, or higher-level degree.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Helpdesk/PC support environment.
• Basic computer hardware setup and configuration experience.
• Experience working with MS Office, O365 and other related software utilizing a Windows platform.
• Experience with imaging corporate computers.
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN; knowledge of VOIP solutions.
• Experience with the administration of AV and VPN software.
• Advanced customer service skill level.

Preferred:

• Basic ITIL Framework understanding
• Associate degree
• Certifications: A+ and/or MCP
• Experience with SCCM, MS Intune, Windows Deployment 
• Leadership/team lead experience

Physical Abilities:

• Willing and able to work overtime as required.
• On-call availability as needed.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
• Frequent walking, bending squatting, pushing, pulling.
• Negligible travel via air or land
