The general purpose of this role is to provide support to field operations team with day to day administrative operations. This requires a self-motivated individual who can work well with little supervision, who takes pride in their work & can perform within a team concerted atmosphere.

Purpose:

The Warehouse Compliance Lead is responsible for overseeing a wide variety of facility and warehouse activities including inventory, shipping/receiving, storage management and operations planning with the objective to establish best practices and ensure policies and procedures are implemented and reinforced through the training, development and oversight of staff. All efforts are to support a safe working environment and a smooth and efficient operation through the facility. This requires a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual with good MS excel skills who can think critically and work independently with little supervision. Also requires strong communication abilities.                                                       

Essential Functions:

  • Establish procedures to maintain physical condition of warehouses to ensure a safe, clean and presentable environment.
  • Plan and optimize warehouse layout to ensure inventory location accuracy and ease of workflow.
  • Lead, develop and train staff on warehousing and inventory control practices and procedures for efficient and error-free production.
  • Establish guidelines for using ProField inventory management module.
  • Ensure internal and external compliance as it relates to warehousing functions.
  • Create metrics to monitor warehouse operations focusing on safety, efficiency and error rates and plan corrective actions as required.
  • Establish project level inventory needs and monitor progress through professional and effective communication and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Identify issues as well as opportunities for improvement related to consumables, inventory, storage and processes within the facility.
  • Manage the preparation and reporting of weekly and monthly inventory and warehouse performance stats.
  • Assist in coordinating resolution to technical and operational issues through maintaining open communication across the project team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Required:

  • Minimum High School diploma or GED with 3+ years overall experience.
  • Experience in warehouse supervisory capacity is required.
  • Strong experience in inventory, warehousing and quality control procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office suite with emphasis on MS Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to prioritize competing project requirements, have strong problem-solving skills and be detail-oriented.

Preferred:

  • Experience with warehouse/inventory management system.

Physical Demands:

  • Work variable schedule including evenings and weekends.
  • Must be willing to travel between company locations as needed.
  • Constant vision and hearing.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and stand; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch and walk through the facilities. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
