If so, nice to meet you! We are looking for a talented Assistant Manager, Facilities. As the Assistant Manager, Facilities, you will be responsible overseeing all building-related activities and services. You will be responsible for preserving the good condition of infrastructure and ensuring that the facility is safe and problem-free so that employees can work under the best conditions.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO

• Troubleshoot facility issues and have a working knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical components, plumbing and overall facilities maintenance.
• Establish preventative maintenance schedules for critical building systems. Ensures completion and maintains documentation.
• Oversee execution of maintenance agreements performed by technicians, vendors and contractors performing building repairs, landscaping and janitorial work.

• Develop Emergency Response program and manages annual safety drills

WHAT ABOUT YOU? To accomplish the above, we expect you to have.

• 7- 10 years’ experience in Facilities Management or Property Management.
• Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and instruct others.
• Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems.
• Ability to perform small repairs and installations (i.e. install keyboard trays, adjust door mechanism, change lightbulbs).
• Experience supervising facilities technicians, professionals and vendors.
• Bilingual preferred. FMP or CFM credentials a plus.
