Vision

The Jr. Graphic Designer supports the Marketing team by managing recurring and ad hoc tasks for digital media, file and database management, and photography as necessary. Major tasks include managing company image database, coordinating and overseeing on-site and product photography sessions, and completing graphics for print and digital marketing materials.

Core Competencies

• Moderate to advanced experience with graphics software (ie. Adobe Creative Suite)
• Moderate to advanced experience with product and interior photography, including understanding of staging spaces for quality image compositions
• Ability to contribute creatively and display an excellent understanding of graphic design principles while maintaining company branding and graphics standards
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of internal computer systems
• Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
• SalesForce.com
• Excellent organization skills including prioritization and multi-tasking
• Ability to work with other departments to create a team spirit and effectively service internal clients
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and self-prioritize
• Follow policies and procedures to complete tasks correctly and on time
• Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in work to ensure quality work
• Familiarity with video editing a plus (Adobe Premiere, Apple iMovie)

Requirements

EXPECTED NUMBER OF HOURS WORKED PER WEEK: 40

Core Functions

• Create graphics to support marketing efforts for digital and print (emails, datasheets, catalogs, print ads, mood boards, etc.)
• Follow branding and formatting standards for graphics, photos, and other digital assets
• Manage contacts and logistics for on-site project photography – Co-ordinating client, contractor, and property owner schedules and running photography sessions on site
• Attend company and external events to provide event photography
• Manage an inventory of staging props for successful project photoshoots
• Photograph and catalog product inventory – communicating with Product and Warehouse teams to coordinate
• Maintain image library of installation and product photos

   Communicate with vendor partners to maintain an up-to-date database of product and installation photos

• Update Salesforce product database with standardized image files

   Categorize and tag product entries to fit standards based on color, sizes, industry terms, etc.

• Film and create promotional videos for portfolio and social media use
• Work with Marketing & Creative Coordinator to coordinate print needs
• Complete ad hoc graphics requests in support of other departments as necessary

Key Performance Indicators

• Meet target turnaround times for graphics requests
• Complete assigned tasks each day and maintain timely communications with internal and external clients

Additional Job Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. (This position involves moving tile for photography)
• Travel – 20%
