This full-time job is located at Lovelace Westside Hospital provides care to Albuquerque’s Westside and Rio Rancho, including the area’s only inpatient pediatric unit, a kid-friendly emergency room and senior care emergency room services. Named a Pinwheel Champion by theInstitute for Patient and Family-Centered Care.
Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant Responsibilities:Provides occupational therapy services as directed by a licensed occupational therapist. May work in collaboration with other health care professionals. May provide treatment to individuals or groups as necessary.
Adheres to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
Occupational Therapist Assistant Education and Experience Job Requirements:
Minimum: Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant
Ability to communicate effectively, provide quality care, maintain concise and timely documentation, identify the need for treatment implementation and function well in a team setting.
Minimum: No directly related experience
Desired: One (1) year related experience
Licensed or licensure eligible COTA in the State of New Mexico; CPR
