Description

Monitor the riders of the assigned vehicle for safety and report any incidents to the Transportation Coordinator.

• Monitor the passengers on the vehicle for safety.
• Ensure all passengers keep their seat belts on at all times and remain seated.
• Assist wheelchair and mobility limited passengers as they enter or exit the vehicle, including assistance with seating, securing seat belt, securing wheelchairs and other assistive devices.
• Keep vehicle clean inside including wiping down seats and windows when needed.
• Operate cell phone to communicate with station or other vehicle to report disruption of service.
• Provide assistance to passengers as necessary to or from the main door of the place of destination.
• Inspect car seats daily to ensure they are secure to the seat.
• Adjust seating arrangements to ensure management and supervision of passengers.
• Complete incident reports and report any rule violations to the Transportation Coordinator.
•  Must be courteous, patient and helpful to all passengers at all times.
•  Attend training, educational workshops, seminars and classes as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must submit to and successfully pass a criminal background screen, adult and child maltreatment screen and pre-employment drug screen.
• Strong communication skills.
