AZA United is one of the largest and most reputable non-profit service providers in Arizona for children and families affected by autism.  We specialize in best practices treatment and family-centered supports. We are currently looking for a highly-skilled, detail-oriented administrative professional who will be based in our corporate office (this is NOT a field-based role), and assist field staff and clients with in-home services via a variety of administrative responsibilities and duties, including service coordination, employee support, and reporting; however, please note that due to COVID-19, this position will have work from home opportunities and with the potential to work in-office with limited staff interaction.

This role provides administrative support for many of our direct care staff working in family homes and helps staff achieve their goals by completing processes that ensure efficient service delivery operations, as well as compliance with funding sources. 

This is a full-time position with a pay range of $16.80 - $24.00 per hour DOE, plus a competitive benefits package. 

Duties will Include:

  • Coordinating services by matching direct care staff with client families
  • Obtaining authorizations and service plan documents from the state
  • Working with a team of support specialists to assist families and direct care staff
  • Assisting client onboarding team which may include processing family intake documents
  • Managing service coordination tracking systems for onboarding, matching, and scheduling
  • Communicating extensive phone and email communications with staff and client families
  • Data entry and verification 
  • Manual and electronic filing, clerical support
  • Helping troubleshoot employee questions, concerns, etc.
  • Assisting with the facilitation of new employee orientation classes

Experience & Qualifications:

Although not required, ideal candidates will have experience with government programs such as the Division of Developmental Disabilities, and some experience with autism services and programs.

Other qualifications include: 

  • Successful experience in a role that requires strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
  • Experience using Microsoft Office products (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, etc.), as well as the ability to easily navigate online platforms such as Google Earth
  • Very strong communication skills: interpersonal, oral and written
  • Ability to work in a positive and professional manner with a wide variety of people both inside and outside the organization
  • Ability to multi-task and respond quickly and professionally to multiple requests
  • Self-motivated and directed, ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Must be able to successfully pass a fingerprint clearance check, a tuberculosis screening, and other related hiring requirements
  • College degree or equivalent relevant experience
