As a Back-Office Clinical Supervisor, you will assist Providers with assigned responsibilities and provide an appropriate medical environment to assure high quality care by performing the following duties. You will also monitor medical assistants and their schedules to provide the best care possible to our patients. Job Duties: Helpful and Friendly To support management by overseeing clinic medical assistant staff. Preforming Medical Assistant duties as needed, please see following job duties. Focuses on patient priorities with a kind and caring attitude to ensure quality care. Escorts patients from the waiting room to the examination rooms. Takes patient vital signs and updates patients current medication list and allergies. Obtain History of Present Illness (HPI) from patients and record in EMR. Assists Providers with injections, and other procedures as directed. Answers patient inquiries in an appropriate manner and facilitates patient’s needs at all times. Appropriately handles triage calls according to office protocol. Facilitates provider orders, including labs, radiology and referrals. Obtains medication prior authorization when needed. Schedules patient appointments. Maintains safety in accordance with standard clinic practices, Exposure Control Plan (ECP) and policy manual. Reviews discharge instructions with patient including home exercise programs and medication usage. Photocopies information given to patients and places copies in appropriate charts. Performs general office responsibilities, to include typing, answering telephone/client inquiries and preparing outgoing mail. Stocks examination rooms to ensure adequate supplies at all times. Applies knowledge of sterile techniques and OSHA regulations.  Use of autoclave.  Ensure appropriate CPT in office visit note for services performed Administers vaccines. Prepares and administers therapeutic injections (such as toradol, rocephin, etc). Performs CLIA-waived testing and specimen collection (including blood draws). Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: Medical Assistant degree required (higher level degree acceptable). CPR required 3 year of previous experience as a medical assistant required. 5 years of experience in customer service required. 2 years of previous supervisory experience preferred. Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook. Basic understanding of MS Powerpoint. Must be able to effectively utilize technology and software, and help others with basic troubleshooting. Must travel to all clinics, including but not limited to Scottsdale, Mesa, Glendale, Surprise (may include other clinic locations when there is growth) Benefits: Free Healthcare Dental & Vision Insurance Paid time off & Sick Time & 401K
