 What You’ll Do

The Business Financial Analyst will be responsible for managing, tracking and reporting the revenue for ABG’s Business Development teams.

What you’ll be working on:

• Manage licensee revenue database
• Review all new license agreements and update models accordingly
• Stay apprised of new business developments that need to be factored into the models
• Assist with budgeting process
• Work with brand managers to develop licensee-by-licensee revenue projections
• Work with business development teams to identify new opportunities
• Participate in meetings with the CFO and the President to review the budget
• Prepare weekly/monthly/quarterly reports for Business Unit Managers
• Assist with preparation of executive and board presentations
• Work on ad hoc financial projects
• Analyze and track key business development data
• Develop and manage companywide databases
• Compile, manage, and analyze key performance indicators and competitive data
• Assist with budgeting process
• Work with brand managers to develop licensee-by-licensee revenue projections
• Work with business development teams to identify new opportunities
• Facilitate integration of newly acquired brands and licensees between M&A and business development teams
• Opportunity to work on additional projects throughout the organization

Must Haves:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Primary functions: INDEX, MATCH, SUMIF(S), Pivot Tables
• Other functions: VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, etc.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint
• Strong communication skills - ability to coordinate with personnel across the organization
• Capable of thinking analytically and creatively
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks and projects
• Ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
• Recognize areas of opportunity and make recommendations for improvement
• Show initiative, confidence, and drive to achieve results without explicit direction or detailed instructions
