Primary Job Role: Support the financial management and operations of the Credit Union by performing all card service functions associated with the Visa Debit and Visa Credit Card Programs. Process all card transaction dispute packets, assist with card production, and help members and internal employees with card related inquiries.

Functions and Responsibilities:

• Process incoming Reg E claims, identify charge-back opportunities where available, and provide provisional credit and final disposition notification for all Fraud and Error resolution claims within the required regulatory time frames.
• Perform credit and debit card maintenance including activation and invalid/excessive PIN tries resolution. Assist with travel restriction exemptions for members who are traveling outside of the Avadian footprint.
• Perform all Visa adjustments and balance transfers as requested.
• Review, take action, and complete all service events and Card Services Group Email requests timely.
• Monitor Symitar reports for blocked credit/debit card activity.
• Provide transaction related research and assistance, and work with internal partners on all card related issues (production/operations).
• Produce new instant issue debit, credit, and HSA cards using the Card Wizard software and Data Card Hardware.
• Maintain plastic inventory levels for card production, and order stock when necessary.
• Download and monitor incoming reports from Card Processor.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

Basic Requirements:

• Must be accurate and have high attention of detail.
• Must have excellent written and verbal skills, positive attitude, pleasant demeanor, decisiveness, and professionalism.

Experience: Three to five years of similar or related experience.

Education: (1) A two year college degree or (2) completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or (3) completion of a specialized and extensive in-house training or apprenticeship program.
