As a member of our home care team, you will be valued, respected, and heard. The Live-in Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) is present in the home and available to provide assistance intermittently throughout a 24 hour period. Not certified? No problem! BAYADA offers to Live-In Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs):

• $1,020/week or $4,080/month     "New pay rate starting October 5,2020 $1,105/weekly"

Qualifications for Live-In Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs):

• Minimum one year work references - "Newly certified welcome"
• Must have current CHHA license listed in good standing with the New Jersey Board of Nursing
• Up to date Medical records (physical and PPD)

Job Responsibilities for Live-In Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs):

• Activities of daily living  
• Light housekeeping  
• Bathing  
• Grooming  
• Toileting  
• Nail care  
• Range of motion / exercises  
• Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices  
• Oral feeding  
• Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration  
• Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.  
• Assisting with ambulation  
• Medication assistance  
• Remain in the home for each 24-hour period, as assigned by clinical manager.
