Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in Managing CEO's Socials: community management, IG Live, Linkedin
  2. Manage Publisher Relationships: Find new ones and nurture existing relationships 
  3. Beautycon Social Management: Closely manage strategy and posting for Beautycon brand Twitter and Instagram

 

Essential Position Duties:

  • Oversee all community management for CEO's social accounts
    • Respond to DMs, comments, and actively like/comment on key posts 
  • Manage CEO's IG Live 
    • Research and connect with new brands that the CEO can collaborate with on IG live 
      • Manage relationship once a brand has been chosen 
    • Manage the schedule for CEO's IG lives 
    • Manage talent spotlights 
    • Film all IG lives 
  • Manage CEO's Linkedin account 
    • Respond to messages, comments, and actively like/comment on key posts 
    • Keep Moj in the loop of any changes in close contacts’ work status 
  • Daily monitoring and management of the CEO email 
  • Manage engagement for the Beautycon IG account 
    • Comment and like on key posts 
    • Monitor DMs for anyone reaching out for collaboration opportunities and pass the relationships off to the appropriate person 
  • Manage Beautycon’s content catalog (magazines, newspapers, books, etc that should be in office) 
  • Responsible for staying up to date on industry trends in beauty/fashion/culture and keeping the CEO informed
  • Manage all of CEO's travel content
    • Responsible for booking videographer/photographer for travels (if necessary) 
    • Responsible for creating all shot lists and mood boards in collaboration with Moj for all shoots 
    • Responsible for shooting content if a videographer/photographer isn’t hired
  • Manage all publisher relationships 
    • Discover and create relationships with new publishers 
    • Maintain relationships with current publisher partners 
    • Collaborate with the internal team on possible publisher strategies 
  • Social Media Management for Twitter and Instagram 
    • Create strategies 
    • Maintain content calendar and deliver weekly reports 
    • Track and pivot strategies if necessary 
    • Work closely with the marketing team to ensure an Omnichannel approach 
  • Responsible for any special projects that pertain to brand opportunities for Beautycon
  • Managing all sponsored products for CEO and Beautycon brand social accounts 

 

Qualifications and Skills

  • 3-5 years in social media management - experience selling tradeshows, events, or festivals preferred 
  • Significant experience working within a high-performance B2C digital environment (retail, fashion, events, or e-commerce experience a strong plus) and a deep understanding of all relevant best practices, processes, KPIs, and business metrics.
  • A HIGHLY ANALYTICAL AND DATA-DRIVEN mindset with a structured problem-solving approach
  • Be metrics/KPI-driven and embed a culture of data and fact-based decision making
  • Have a razor-sharp focus and the ability to ‘cut through the noise’ to make sound and rapid decisions
  • Previous direct experience within a high volume and complex event business, and a comfort level working in a very fast-paced, constantly changing environment
  • Will have excellent communication and time management skills
  • Strong understanding of marketing strategy and functions 
  • Experience working with Salesforce 
  • Has a personal Rolodex of existing clients
