The Director of Employee Experience is responsible for the strategy, development, coordination and delivery of initiatives that amplify the employee experience and increase employee engagement.  The role is focused on the overall experience we deliver to our employees and on increasing employee retention.  In addition, the role manages employment law compliance, employee benefits and perks as well as performance review.  The Director of Employee Experience will work with our leaders and managers to ensure an employee experience that delivers on our 21 fundamentals.

 

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the candidate will partner closely with all departments to ensure all HR functions are in compliance with state and federal laws.  The candidate will be an innovator, collaborator, influencer and change agent.  The role will collaborate with leadership across BRC to build and implement our employee experience strategy and will be tasked with overseeing our corporate culture.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Oversees and manages our employee benefits offerings.
  • Directs and implements our employee performance improvement strategy.
  • Formally and informally offers resolutions to employee opportunities.
  • Acts as an employee relationship liaison when needed.
  • Directs and oversees all employee engagement surveys
  • Manages the employee handbook.
  • Stays current on trends, best practices and networking of the employee experience world and applies them where appropriate.
  • Oversees our talent acquisition strategy and process.
  • Develop, implement and oversee an employee wellness program.
  • Formally and informally coach and train leaders on how to engage employees.
  • Manage our Talent Acquisition Manager and Employee Benefits Administrator.

 

Candidate Requirements:

  • 8-10 years in the HR or related field
  • 3-5 years in a leadership, management capacity.
  • Formal training or education on employment law and HR management.
  • Strong written and verbal skills.
  • Outstanding discipline and organizational skills.
  • College degree is required.
  • The ability to travel to all regions within the BRC portfolio
