Director Of Installation

Blink Charging Co, a dynamic, fast paced EV Charging company is currently seeking a Director Of Installation to join our growing team

The Director Of Installation will be based in our Miami Beach headquarters and is responsible for the overall leadership and direction on multiple construction projects. You will serve as the point of contact for all project managers for issues concerning budget, implementation, billing, and ensures the fiscal success of the project.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of construction experience
• Excellent business judgment demonstrated by consistently achieving objectives and strong project close-outs with client and subcontractor relationships in good standing.
• The ability to manage and embrace change. Respond and adapt to new processes and new ways of looking at old problems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to confidently and decisively take action.
• Knowledge of Procore software
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects of varying sizes simultaneously

Key Responsibilities

• Provide oversight in managing all necessary resources throughout the entire project from start-up through closeout and ensure that the company’s expectations regarding budget, schedule, and quality objectives are met or exceeded.
• Work closely with clients, owners, and subcontractors to develop relationships that exceeds the company satisfaction to Blink’s demanding standards.
• It is expected that the senior project manager is the “common thread” that owns the project from project turnover through closeout and beyond. This involves:
  • o Oversight of projects at a high level from beginning to end including budget, costs, unexpected events, general performance, and overall progress against plan.
  • o Ensure that the day-to-day operations of projects are transitioned effectively to project managers and superintendents from preconstruction when work commences in the field.
• Schedule Performance.
  • o Assist the project staff in the development of the Baseline Schedule
  • o Monitor schedule performance
  • o Assist the project team in initiation of Procore processes and workflow

Working Conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing. The employee is frequently required to stands; walk; and reach with arms and/or hands. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The employee will spend their time in an office environment with a quiet to moderate noise level. Job site walking. Work may require occasional travel, weekend and/or evening work.

Education

• Bachelor's in Construction Management, Engineering or applicable discipline and experience relative to Electrical Infrastructure (Preferred)
