SUMMARY OF JOB PURPOSE

The Acidizing Equipment Operator – Pumping will be responsible for operating on customer locations in a safe and responsible manner. Day to day duties include rigging up/rigging down multiple times a day and operating acidizing equipment in a safe and effective manner.

Responsibilities

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Specific duties require rig up/down, equipment operation and maintenance of same equipment as directed by supervisory staff.
• Operating Frac Pumps, Acid Transports, Winch Trucks, Chem. Floats, Acid, Line Trucks, and other equipment as directed by supervisory staff.
• Attaching pumps and hoses, assembling equipment, and/ or monitoring control panels affecting pumping operations. Multiple Rig Ups/Downs per day.
• Ensures standards for operations, equipment, and operational performances are maintained
• Ensures quality on equipment and improvements to facilities and/or units.
• Alert management of overages while making recommendations and solutions to problems
• Understand and adhere to all safety regulations and applicable Bosque Systems Policies
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Comply with Bosque policies and procedures and keeps safety & environment as one of the most important aspects of daily operation and escalate any issues that arise.

Qualifications

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES – Education / Knowledge / Skills and Abilities

• Wide range of knowledge with rotating equipment.
• Self-motivated.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Must be able to demonstrate a high level of safety awareness in performing all job duties.
• Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
• Ability to self-direct as required and perform work under minimal instruction, receive general direction on new assignments.
• Willingness to participate in Company provided training as needed or required.
• Knowledge of safety rules and practices
• Ability to meet any company or client-required training standards
• Ability to work overtime in 24/7 environment in order to respond to emergency call-outs as needed

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Regional visits that may require lifting some boxes/parts, walking yard
• PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required and must be worn when on yards & jobsite locations:
  • Safety Glasses, Hard hats, FR Clothing and other as required by customer.
• Light to moderate physical effort required
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
• Ability to manually transport a load up to 80 lbs
• Ability to apply up to 200-foot pounds of torque
• Regularly required to walk, reach and move about the facility
• Work in/around mechanical, industrial and electrical equipment
• Required to climb about equipment at various heights and work in confined areas (i.e. tanks, between compressors, vessels)
• Work in temperature extremes due to weather conditions and operating equipment
• Use of physical force to lift, push, pull and hold equipment/tools
• Work bending, stooping, standing, sitting, lying down and crouching
• Required to move from ground level to higher levels
• Able to drive a vehicle for extended periods of time
• Able to work around hazardous chemicals and in Oil & Gas Operational conditions
• Ability to be present at field office during denoted work hours, which may be altered occasionally to accommodate delivery of programs
• Ability to read, communicate verbally and/or in written form, remember and analyze certain information, instructions and guidelines
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
