• Support the design and administration of Compensation and Talent Management programs, processes, and tools. o Key Compensation areas include: job evaluations, career pathing, promotions and adjustments, and incentive plans.o Key Talent Management areas include: performance management, succession planning, and employee development.• Prepare communications and conduct training on a wide variety of Compensation and Talent Management topics.• Follow established processes to define and evaluate jobs, assign FLSA classification (US only), determine salary grades, and assign compensation eligibility.• Partner with HR Business Partners and managers on career pathing development and compensation decisions including promotions, adjustments, job offers, and other rewards actions.• Support year-end programs (performance reviews and year-end rewards) through project coordination, preparing communications, conducting market research, coordinating audits, etc.• Complete annual salary and other workforce-related surveys, gathering insights to improve our decision-making.• Participate in compensation-based due diligence activities for potential acquisitions.• Work with the HRIS team to build and maintain reports focused on key workforce metrics and trend analysis.• Provide continuous improvement recommendations for all related programs, processes, and tools.
• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field. • 1-3 years of experience in a Human Resources, Compensation, Talent Management, Finance, or data-centric role.• Prior experience with Compensation preferred.• Coursework towards CCP is a plus.• Must have intermediate knowledge and skills with Microsoft Excel including formulas and pivot tables.
SPECIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES/SKILLS• Proven ability to work independently and responsible for high quality, error free work product; attention to detail is key.• Strong verbal and written communication skills.• Knowledge of common Human Resources, Compensation, and Talent Management practices.• Prior experience with Microsoft Office suite, including, but not limited to: Excel, Word, and Power Point.• Prepare, analyze, and interpret complex excel spreadsheets with highest attention to detail.• Able to use packaged HR software to establish sustainable ad-hoc reporting capabilities.• Maintain pulse on changes in all relevant markets as tied to HR practices and processes.• Establish collaborative working relationships with staff across Cantel.• Uphold highest standards of confidentiality and compliance with laws and regulations in our related markets.
WORKING CONDITIONSThis role is located in an office setting. Extended periods of sitting and staring at a computer screen will be required. Domestic travel will be required less than 10% of the time.
